THE SWISS SUSTAINABLE COFFEE PLATFORM (SSCP)

The SSCP is a joint project of Community of Interest Coffee Switzerland (CICS) and Switzerland’s State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).

This is Procafé
Procafé offers the unique opportunity to cultivate personal contacts with players in the Swiss coffee industry. Some members are also active in international associations and organisations.
Monitoring
In addition to a monthly media review, our members receive twice-yearly reports on media and regulatory developments in Switzerland and the EU.
Knowledge
Our members receive free documentation for customer events and training courses. Procafé also has teaching materials for school lessons.
Reserach & Co
We follow the research of the Institute for Scientific Information on Coffee (ISIC) and prepare the results for our members. We also provide them with data, for example on the import and export of green coffee.
Sustainability
From cultivation to consumption: sustainability relates to the entire value chain. We support our members with regard to the economic, social and environmental dimensions of the topic.
Communication
Our members are continuously informed about our communication measures through various channels. For example, we write position papers or provide entertaining information, such as on our YouTube channel.
Image work
We inform the public about all aspects of coffee, in particular the plant, cultivation and origin, production, processing and trade, as well as traditions, products and recipes in various countries.
