Espresso

Espresso is the basis of all Italian and many Swiss coffee specialities. It is recognisable by its hazelnut-brown, red tinted appearance and crema (dense surface foam).

Preparation

7.5 g fine-ground, espresso-roast coffee, approx. 20 – 30 ml hot water, brewing temperature 90 – 94°C, warmed espresso cup.
